Sense.BBR
Betablack-body radiation
The Sense.BBR infrared presence and motion-detection tile is based on the ST STHS34PF80. Capable of detecting stationary and moving objects within an 80° field of view at up to 4 m without an external lens, the module operates in the 5–20 µm IR band, which is insensitive to visible light. On-chip algorithms distinguish between presence, motion, and changes in ambient temperature, with configurable thresholds and interrupt output. Output data rates from 0.25 to 30 Hz.
